device. However, unless you delete the email, you can continue to open the other
attachments by returning to the View Email menu item.
Saving an image attachment in the Photo Album or as a document: If you receive
an email with an image attachment, you can save the image either in your photo album
on the device or (if it is an image of printed material) you can save it as a document. To
do this, press the Action Button when you are viewing the image. Next, scroll to and
select your preference of saving the image as either “Text” if it is an image of a printed
document, or as “Image/Photo.”
If you select to save as “Text”:
Once the attachment begins reading aloud, press and hold the Action Button
While holding the Action Button, press the Back Button.
Next scroll to and select your preference to “Save with Voice Label” or “Save
without Voice Label.”
Follow the prompts.
You will then be returned to the screen with the recognized text from the image
and you can now press the Back Button to return to displaying the image.
If you select to save the attachment as an “Image/Photo:
Select “Save to Photo Album.”
Select an existing album you would like to save it in or select “Create New
Album,” and follow the prompts.
Please note: If you receive an email with multiple images attached, you will find a
“Save Images As” option as the bottom sub-menu choice upon selecting to open the
email. If the group of images are all photos and you want them all to be saved in the
same photo album on the device, you can use this “Save Images As” for a short-cut
instead of saving each image individually. Likewise, it you want multiple text images to
be saved under the same voice label, you can use this option to save them together as
a book. Otherwise, if you want to save photo images in different albums, or save some
as photos and some as text, or only save some images, you can press the Action
Button when viewing an individual image attachment and you will then be given the
option to choose Text or Image/Photo for saving that particular image.
Sending an image attachment you received by email: If you receive an email with
an image attachment and you want to email it to someone, press the Action button
when you are viewing the image. Next, scroll to and select “Image/Photo.” Then, scroll
to and select “Send via Email.” Select a recipient, and then you can choose to either
add a voice attachment, an additional image attachment, or to just send the email.
